The combination of these two truths is particularly dangerous at this time of year. It's our anniversary today.
While searching online for gift ideas (refer to truth A ... I need all the help I can get), I stumbled upon this actual, legitimate suggestion.
Several years ago I got this idea from a magazine. Buy a potholder (one with a loop to hang), sew it together crosswise and put in a pair of scissors. This way, they can hang in the kitchen and always know where their scissors were at and it's very decorative. Total cost was about $2.00.
Part of me is tempted. Just to see what might happen. Nothing says Happy 17th anniversary like a potholder-scissors-holder, right?
After all, it is very decorative!
